Senior Accountant - Compensation | Nashville Area

In Office - Hybrid

$80-100k+, 10% Bonus

I'm working on a newly created Senior Accountant opportunity with a growing company in the Nashville area. This is a particularly important role within the accounting organization and offers the opportunity to join an extremely strong, experienced accounting leadership team.

This is NOT a payroll processing role. It is an accounting position focused on compensation-related calculations, accruals, journal entries and the monthly close.

The role will include

• Own complex, recurring compensation calculations
• Calculate and record compensation-related accruals
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and support monthly close
• Partner closely with Accounting and Payroll
• Take ownership of highly sensitive and confidential compensation information
• Become the internal go-to person for this area of the accounting function

We're looking for 3-5+ years of strong accounting experience

• Solid monthly close and journal entry experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Someone highly reliable, consistent and organized
• Strong professional judgment and discretion
• Someone who enjoys ownership, routine and recurring processes
