External Auditor/Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Senior Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and lead external audit engagements for Asset & Wealth Management clients.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with U.S. accounting and auditing standards.
• Identify and resolve accounting, financial reporting, and audit-related issues.
• Work directly with clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors.
• Use audit technology, data analytics, and automation tools to improve audit efficiency.
• Analyze large datasets and provide meaningful business insights.
• Support process improvements and contribute to client service excellence.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong background in external auditing within the Asset & Wealth Management industry.
• Experience auditing Private Equity, Hedge Fund, or Real Estate clients.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and work effectively in a team environment.

Must Have

• 3+ years of External Audit experience.
• Experience auditing clients in one or more of the following:
• Private Equity Funds
• Hedge Funds
• Real Estate Funds
• Asset & Wealth Management Firms
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.

Preferred

• CPA Certification.
• Big 4 public accounting experience.
