Overview

St. John Fisher University is an independent, liberal arts institution that provides a transformative education to approximately 3,800 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students each year. Across its five Schools, Fisher offers nearly 40 majors in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business, education, and nursing; 11 pre-professional programs; and master’s and doctoral programs in business, nursing, education, pharmacy, and public health. The School of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible Assistant Professor of Finance to begin Fall 2027. This position carries a 3–3 teaching load and involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses across multiple modalities (in-person, online, and hybrid). The School embraces a teacherscholar model and prides itself on a hightouch approach. We are AACSB accredited and seek to deliver applied business learning anchored in community engagement and social responsibility. Faculty are expected to contribute meaningfully across teaching, research, and service while actively engaging with students and the broader Fisher community.
