Senior Accountant - Fintech / Banking

Robert Half Financial Services is recruiting for a Senior Accountant role for a fast growing Fintech Banking firm located in midtown Manhattan, New York. Our client requires 3+ years of Accounting experience at a Bank, Broker Dealer or Fintech; or within Public Accounting/Big 4 covering Financial Services clients. Must have a CPA or parts passed, with knowledge of month end close, regulatory reporting, balance sheet, reconciliations, and journal entries.

This role is hybrid remote requiring 3-4 days per week in the midtown Manhattan New York office.Responsibilities:Run the month-end close and prepare journal entries (accruals, prepaids, payroll and bonus allocations).Own reconciliations and balance sheet roll-forwards tied to the GL.Handle consolidation, intercompany and shared-cost allocations in NetSuite.Regulatory Reporting (OCC, FED, FINRA, SEC).Write flux commentary and support the financial statements.Support Corporate Controller in all endeavors.Support audits and the control documentation.
