General Manager - Building a neobank for the diaspora

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing global fintech that has built a trusted brand helping diaspora communities send money home.

Having established a strong consumer product and a growing B2B business, they're now evolving beyond cross-border payments. The ambition is clear, to build a neobank for the diaspora.

They're hiring a General Manager to own a brand-new consumer business unit end to end, with full P&L responsibility. You'll shape what gets launched, where, when and why. From day one you'll inherit a dedicated engineering team and product managers, and you'll have the backing to build out your own commercial function.

It's a great opportunity for someone who wants to lead a genuine zero-to-one build with real ownership, inside a business that already has scale, momentum and a loyal customer base.

What they need from you

• Operator experience in high-growth startups, with rapid progression into senior roles
• A track record of owning a P&L and being accountable for the numbers, beyond just user growth or the product roadmap
• Experience leading zero-to-one product builds and scaling a business unit
• A consumer background, with a solid understanding of user acquisition and growth rather than enterprise sales
• A strong academic background from a top-tier institution, ideally followed by time at a tier-one consultancy
• Real comfort with ambiguity, and the judgement to set direction where none exists yet

Payments or fintech experience isn't essential. They care more about sharp, commercially minded generalists than sector specialists.
